Canadian producer/DJ 303 Dreams recently returned to his musical workshop to build some new toys to complement your many moods. First out of the gate is Burning, which employs the core elements of a trance composition paired with darker themes and more somber tones.
"I really worked on the sound design for this track," explains 303 Dreams. "Trying to achieve some unique sounds such as the warbling secondary bass line, a retro lead synth sound, and heavy production on the vocals to create some ethereal ear candy."
Stylistically similar to Ferry Corsten and Gabriel & Dresden, 303 Dreams also credits Depeche Mode and Massive Attack with influencing his affinity for more atmospheric sounds.
Burning is an impressive and welcome return for the Toronto producer.
